I just had my thirtieth birthday and my girlfriend bought me a molseskine storyboard notebook. If you dont have one you should really check them out they have storyboard frames thoughout the book. I just started drawing in it today and I am really excited what ideas will come from it. I did a total of eight drawings about life in starbucks, it was alot of fun.

I found this little guy at Biglots with my girlfriend and I have to say it was quite the find for a buck. So what is it you ask? Well, what it does is act like a pen-like retractable blade. What! yeah for real! On the other side of the of the "pen" there is a little orange button that will release the blade back into the cartridge, Brilliant! If you see one of these you should definitely pick one up for your creative arsenal. =)

hope everyone had a great holiday! I went to Stanford University to check out this show. Each poster showed how art can influence a politcal cause though composition,color,perspective,value etc....My favorite posters designs were from the old USSR, very strong compositions and bold colors.
